Just like a bank account, the Church operates a spiritual treasury to help all people in the world. When you need an extra dose of grace, you can draw down from the reserves in that account. When you have something to contribute like prayer, good deeds, or kindness, you can make a deposit that allows others to benefit from the treasure you've stored up in heaven!
