Dominican Republic Mission
Join the team: July 25–31
We’re heading back to Hato Mayor this summer, partnering with Nativity Parish in our second year of supporting the school there. This year we’ll host a Vacation Bible School for the children.
Spanish isn’t required: 410 Bridge provides translators. Last year’s team ranged in age from 13 to 81, so no one is too young or too old to come.

Why we go
At the heart of our mission work are relationships, and like any relationship, they grow in person. With 410 Bridge we work to transform both the spiritual and physical well-being of communities in the developing world, raising up local leaders who assess their community’s needs and plan for long-term change in water, health, education, economic development and discipleship.
Our first trip: August 2025
From August 2 to 8, ten St. Hilary parishioners made our first global mission trip, rooted in prayer, reflection and Spanish Mass. Brooke found her love for the Eucharist and her calling as a teacher renewed while helping a young boy named Andreas learn to write his numbers. Jackie taught math, played and laughed with the children, and listened to families in their homes, meeting Jesus in each of them.
By the end of the week, a group of strangers had become a family of faith, reminded that mission is not only about what we give, but about the joy and renewal the Lord brings to us.

Partnering with 410 Bridge
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others.1 Peter 4:10
410 Bridge empowers and uplifts communities around the world through a Christ-centered, holistic model of community development. Every project is built for the community’s long-term success, so you’ll work side by side with local people, visit their homes and churches, and become part of their journey out of poverty.
