Altar Servers

At St. Hilary, the Priest and Altar Servers—boys and girls, adults and children—work together to make worship more meaningful for everyone.  We believe Altar Servers have a special place at Mass, and Pope John Paul II agrees.  Serving at the altar, he said, is "a genuine holy service" for Jesus himself and is an important way in which kids in grades three and older can contribute to the life of the parish, while adding dignity and reverence to the Mass.  Take a seat up front and get a backstage pass to Mass.  Become an Altar Server and give back to your parish.

Altar Society - Dress for Success

We take great care to ensure that our brass gleams, our wood is polished, our floors sparkle, and our worship space is adorned with beautiful, tasteful decorations. All for you and for the Lord.  Join the Altar Society team to spruce up, shine, embellish, and festoon the church on special occasions like Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter.

Adult or Youth Choir

Beautiful music lifts our souls straight to heaven.  From the majestic vocal sounds of our Schola Cantorum to the angelic voices of our Children’s Choir to the upbeat praise and worship tunes of our Contemporary Choir, music at St. Hilary enriches the worship experience. Our adult choir, the Schola Cantorum, sings most often at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday Mass.  Rehearsal time is Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Church.  Our children's choir (Grades 3-8) sing at the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass.  Rehearsals are at 8:15 a.m. Sunday mornings.  Saint Augustine said that "singing belongs to one who loves."  Warm up your vocal chords, join the choir, and praise God with us.

Eucharistic Ministers

Few opportunities are more privileged than proclaiming the Word of God and serving the Body and Blood of Christ to fellow Catholics.  We take great care to prepare our Eucharistic Ministers to serve their fellow parishioners with knowledge and reverence.  Join our liturgy team to make Mass even more special.

Greeter-Ushers

Join our hospitality team and welcome home everyone who comes through our doors.  Assist with the collection, seating, distributing the bulletin, and other needs that may arise.

Lectors

We carefully select and train our Lectors to proclaim God’s Word clearly and prayerfully.  Loud and clear.  Every Sunday.  Few opportunities are more privileged than proclaiming the Word of God.  Join our liturgy team to make Mass even more special.

Liturgy Committee

Meet every month with the pastoral team and parishioners to plan special liturgies and make our worship worthy of God.

Sunday Hospitality

On most Sunday mornings, kids zip around our parish hall, donut in hand, while families connect and older folks enjoy all the hubbub. Parishioners settle in to one of our cozy club chairs with a hot cup of coffee for a hard-earned break and some company.  Put your love to work by serving up a warm smile and tasty treats to fellow parishioners on Sunday mornings.
